Sounds like a depressing holiday movie as there is no turn about happy ending to this story. :(

That was 2011. I'm talking 2012 Worlds. I want my world X-C championship!!!! As march is my 2nd favorite month.

Thought this might need a bump, because of the Kenyan writer article.

Or am I the only one who will miss the World X-C Champs??? :(

agree w kuha & jnathletics -- I too miss world xc -- one of my favorite events in the athletics calendar. Given that this is the way it is now, I wish at least that the expanded list of events (long course & short course) would be part of the event. And, too, that the women's distances would be made the same as the men's. But of course none of that makes up for the loss of the annual event.
