Wow, after all that impassionate defense of the practice, you sure had me fooled . So, you don't particularly care for it either. You tolerate it, I tolerate it. No difference between us regarding the Tebowing, right ?

Hopefully . . . I don't advocate it; I would never do it, but I certainly don't think it's to be criticized. It's just personal choice - doan make no nemmine to me!

I side with what Jesus said on Saturday Night Live, "Hey Tim.....just tone it down a bit, buddy."
The bottom line is that we saw something different and entertaining, Sure beat the hell out of some big mouth egomaniac wide receiver running off at the mouth. No harm was done.
I'm sure squackee would have liked SF to grab him.
Here is what football's greatest quarterback mind chose to ignore: the best defense in football, a team that was two fumbles from the Super Bowl, playing in great weather with a great quarterback coach, a terrific offensive line and no weaknesses.

Yes sir! But now that he is somewhere else I hope he flops!
Imagine the Jets lockeroom, which is already a mess, players flipping the bird, in-fighting ect ect and just wait till they have to all answer 5 million Tebow questions everyday!!! When is Tebow gonna play, what about Tebow, ect ect ect, I will laugh my ass off!!!!!! A future core meltdown.

That is about right. Sanchez seems enough of a delicate case without Teboism all around.
Between the mess of the Saints and the Jets it will be an entertaining season.
agree w you, conor -- I enjoy watching NFL in any case, but am particularly curious for this coming season, not only to see what sort of things happen w the Jets & Saints, but also Manning/Broncos, Luck/(probably)Indianapolis, Griffin/(probably)Washington. Now, if only Favre would make a comeback...

Yea, it is going to be a lot of fun. And the happiest of all must be Elway, even if Manning doesn't play well, which I don't think will happen.
Don't know about the Favre thing though. I think everyone has had enough of that.
I was for sure kidding about Favre, as I'm sure you knew. Was just hypothetically factoring him into the off-season QB-circus we've seen so far this year.
