...or another prominent Latino politician as the Republican VP nominee. Although a majority of Latino voters are for legal immigration, I feel the Republican Party has inadvertently alienated a significant number of those individuals by their immigration stance that some see as anti-Latino.

From a strategic perspective, I can't imagine the Republican nominee not making an attempt to re-gain many of those votes.

Quite. The SCOTUS is clearly in desperate need of the towering intellect of a 'wise Latina' who believes that the Spanish language has no adjectives.

(In a 1996 speech at Princeton University: 'For example, in Spanish we do not have adjectives. A noun is described with a preposition....' )
