Solve this puzzle, please

Postby Guest » Tue Jun 24, 2003 1:05 pm

I discovered a 1923 CIF gold medal for 100 yard dash and also the 1923 220 yard dash but according to the records they were won by different people. I am trying to figure out how they landed in the same place. Also, does anyone know of a sprinter from that time named Eddie Polleck from Pasadena H.S. Thanks for your input.

Ed Pollack of Pasadena high won the California 100 (10.0) in 1923, but wasn't in the first 4 in the 200, which was won by Bob Lee of LA Franklin in 23.2.

I could help you try figure that out if I knew where you discovered them. That information might provide some clue as to how they landed in the same place.
