A Food Thread That's Relevant!

well, sort of.......

There's a stand in the food court here in Sacramento which in addition to funnel cakes and corn dogs, offers something none of us have ever heard of before..... deep-fried Twinkies! I kid you not. Nobody brave enough to try one yet. We eagerly await a guinea pig.

I would stay away from deep-fried twinkies. You probably risk heart disease just looking at those things. Some food items you should take to a meet:

Oranges, apples, bananas, pies, and serial. These are tasty treats that will keep you filled and happy during any meet.

I'll it one. I'm not sure if they're Southern in origin but I know they're a staple at fairs and such.

Give me a Moon Pie and time of the day and any day of the week and I'm a happy man. I'll skip the RC Cola though.

I got my "I'll try one" and "I'll try it" cross in typing.

Yes. Moon Pies... good stuff. Nothing better before a long run.
