i thought ebony collins was going to lsu, but her name is not on the roster. she had a difficult season last year, but the 2 years before that she seemed arguably as good as any high schooler in the nation. i hope she is allright and has not given up the sport.
LOL all you want; in these days of stalkers and pervs we stay 100% above-board when it comes to the kids. (Actually, even if there wasn't that concern we'd be very circumspect; people below the age of consent probably shouldn't be talking to the media without adult permission anyway.)
Ebony Collins is now running for West Los Angeles community college.
She's done some relays and won the 200 a couple weeks ago in 23.64 at the California Relays

If you drill down in that web site, you'll find that the results of the 200m were identical to the results of that event at last year's California Relays. Same top six listed, same times for each, same wind. Something is obviously wrong.

She is well over 15. And anyway, I thought you wanted to talk to her about T&F plans, not, erm, anything else. Guess I was wrong
Age is irrelevant (I was just pointing out legalities to somebody who thought 15 was it). Our position, regardless of age, is that we are circumspect around high school students. Excuse us for taking a stance that tries to avoid putting youngsters under undue pressure.
