I know these things are just opinions and there's no point arguing much about them, but one pick that strikes me as really bizarre is Yohan Diniz for gold in the 20k walk. OK, the guy had one good result in the event last year (won the Euro Cup), but nothing apart from that and he's never even competed at this distance in major championships - he always does the 50.

I think the Chinese factor might come to the fore in the wDT (Sun Taifeng) and the wHT (Zhang Wenxiu).

I'd rather pick Koech over Shaheen for the 3000m steeplechase and I would have said Sihine for the 5000m as well ONLY if he doesn't run the 10000m.
