Questions for Tom JordanI hear that there will be an all-comers track meet at Hayward Field during the Olympic Trials--one of the down days. How cool would that be! Is this true? Also, any word on the South Eugene HS track being open to the public during the trials--to watch the athletes practice?? Thanks.
Wow! Cool!
Will masters age-groupers be included? How will the races be run -- by seed time, age group? When will entry info be posted? K E N P.S.: TJ for many years was executive vice president of World Masters Athletics. Hayward Field hosted the 1989 world masters championships and the 2000 and 2003 USATF masters nationals.

Schedule a 100-meter dash just for visiting media! Millrose features its Fastest Kid in New York races. Why not decide the Fastest Scribe in Eugene? (Photographers, bloggers and assorted media types are welcome.) Also invited: Jill Geer and other USATF press minders. Just show your credential and take a lane. Even serious meets like the Trials need comic relief K E N B R I N G I N G S P I K E S (GH? Frank Litsky? You're going DOWN!)
