Looking for a book called "So You Want To Be a Sprinte

Postby Mark Viera » Sun Jul 29, 2007 9:38 am

I am looking for a book that was written by Bud Winter Called “So You Want to Be a Sprinter”. My high school track coach had recommended it to me and I found it a good resource. My son is now getting interested in track, but I have long since lost my copy. If any one has a copy, or knows where I can get one, please let me know.
Bud Winter also wrote two other books that I would be interested in as well. One is called “The Jet Sprint Relay Pass” and another about how to come out of the starting blocks but the name escapes me.

You can email me at markviera@comcast.net
Thanks

"So You Want To Be a Sprinter" by Winter is/was a neat and fun book ! I was looking for a copy about 3 years ago, and asked for it on this site... and got it ! Hope you are as lucky as I was. Mine's not for sale, as I gave it to my bro as a gift.

Does anyone else have a copy of this book? I am looking for a copy to buy but have had no luck on amazon and not really too sure where else to try.

The 2010 edition is available today:

http://www.budwinter.com/books/so-you-w ... -sprinter/

At under 20 bucks, It sure beats paying $150 on eBay or Abebooks.

The Rocket Sprint Start, the one which analyzes Armin Hary's start using high speed cameras, appears to be the next book released.
