A place for the discussion of all things not closely related to the sport and its competitive side. (Locked down several times a year during the major championships)
AT&T have done the same here in SoCal. Sorry, don't have a pic but they have stuck their globe logo into "futbol" on billboards everywhere - targeting the Latino population who are the majority here (please, no political comments are needed).
H) He:s gone temporarily mad, but for reasons we didn:t know until now. He starts off with blue, the colour of the sky and sea. There is no rain, and there is no water in the photo. He:s dying of thirst. Red increases the respiration rate, and raises blood pressure, hence his outburst. He has no more perspiration to leak, and nothing to lick from his lips. He realises we are looking at him, so he quickly turns back to blue and thoughts which can calm him; he is trying to symbolise piety and sincerity of his lack of fluid after his outburst. Green has strong emotional correspondence with safety, with dark green commonly associated with money. In this instance, after he shows us he has no water, has his outbreak, shows us he is not a nut, but sincere, he then shows us that, through green, he will be better off if his farm receives water, as life will grow on his land, and he will get more money. He then goes through an orange stage, demonstrating determination and encouragement, because we are looking at him looking at us looking at him. If we don:t wash our cars today, and put the would-be wasted water into a couple litres of empty cannisters, he:ll be much better tomorrow.

And today's paper notes, sadly, that the recaptured Scream may have suffered permanent damage.
I saw the original on exhibit at the Art Gallery of Ontario. I picked up a couple of souvenirs including a Scream whoopi cushion. I have a photo around which I will post of a conceptual piece I made from the cushion, pegged to a clothes line beside a cup with the words "This is not the life I ordered", and a sad looking puppy in the cup. The cushion screamed when you squeezed it, like any date I get.

Unfortunately I cannot find the illustration online, but on yesterday's SF Chronicle's Op/Ed page was an opinion piece written by Khurschev's son Sergei - The Making of Sputnik - that was illustrated by a Sputnik photo where the main body had been replaced by a head shot of a smiling Nikita Khruschev. Pretty funny, actually.
ya know what's funny about this, is that I use google many times a day, but haven't seen their home page in 6 months, since I downloaded the toolbar into my header. Besides the spam-blocker, it has has a great highlighting tool that makes searching text easy.
