Tafnut, I have a theory.
While in former times we had radio 'n TV shows and limited news sources in common 'bout which we'd converse around the ol' water cooler (network TV was good fer sumptin', huh?), nowadays everbody's gone their separate ways, listenin' to, watchin', 'n readin' a large variety of stuff that their "neighbors" (whoever they are) ain't never heard of. So, what's our current common ground? Why, e-mail jokes 'n stuff, of course. I'll just bet that if I compared my inbox to yours, there'd be close to a one-to-one match. Pretty much our new common ground. God help us all!

Very odd, indeed. I received the same link in an e-mail, and almost posted this under Things Not T&F ... interesting!
And then there's this guy who gives vision tests and sells eyeglasses in Southwestern Alaska. They call him the Optical Aleutian.
(Is there an emoticon for Groan?)
The rotating dots turned green but the pink dots never completely disappeared.. spose that has to do with only having vision in one eye?
Nope, I tried it with one eye. You have to look at the cross and only at the cross. I bet your eye drifting to the edge to try and see the pink as it disappears. And here is the smiley for j. buffalo
A keyboard way of expression.
Found this first postmaybe it's an idea who's time has come? http://www.nerdtimes.com/emoticons/ 17-Sep-82 15:15 Anthony Stentz at CMU-780G (*%) How about using * for good jokes and % for bad jokes? We could even use *% for jokes that are so bad, they're funny.
OK, I'll try it. Did you hear about the guy who fell into a vat of molten optical glass and made a spectacle of himself?
