Long URL test threadThis has to be replied to at least once every 108 minutes or the thread will disappear. This link has actually been discussed before:
http://www.thestar.com/NASApp/cs/Conten ... alogin=yes Ok-the thread is going far to the right. Do I have to do something or should it be automatic or is it a Firefox thing? That I will test. Ok, in IE the link is three lines but the middle one is still too long.
Starting next year we get a month more; starts 3 weeks earlier, ends a week later (first Sunday in November). I didn't realize they had passed this law whilst I was in Helsinki.

ImagesI just posted an image of Nathans Coney Island on the Burgerdog thread and it made the screen fat!
Re: Long URL test thread
MJD notice that the urls always break at a question mark. I expect if there is no question mark then the software cannot break it. I suppose a '?' is the equivalent of a hyphen in urls. The javascript I posted in the bill king thread had to be broken with a manual return to stop the extreme width syndrome. I predict that wineturtle's image of Nathans Coney Island on the Burgerdog thread does not have a '?' in the url. Edit OK forget that last point. It's clear that the problem is that the picture has too many pixels. Is there anyway to define the number of pixels for a picture using the BBCode or code for a thumbnail?
Re: Long URL test thread
But what does that link have to do with a strong magnetic field source encased in concrete?
You have to change it yourself in your preferences. Changing the board wouldn't matter because when you are logged in, it goes with whatever time setting you have.
Just did my weekly 'Atomic Clock Sync' (how does my computer lose 5 seconds every week? I thought electricity had to be regulated to work right.) and the board clock is fast by 4 minutes 20 seconds (hit refresh till it changed minutes). I picked up a little OCB in the Navy where an accurate watch was paramount.
I just realized that the Board automatically adjusted my time zone preference to reflect the return of EST. I had set my time zone for GMT minus 4 hours, which is correct during the summer. Now it's set for GMT minus 5 hours, and I didn't change it.
Yeah, but they did not do it right away. On Sunday morning my GMT time on the board was an hour off, so I changed my profile. I noticed today that I was an hour off again and had to change back. No big deal, but like the T&FN server clock being almost five minutes off, this should be automated. Ben??
