Elizabethtown has a Nike tie in

Postby MJD » Fri Oct 14, 2005 3:35 pm

"Once again we begin with the spectacle of an ambitious young hotshot - in this case a sneaker designer rather than a sports agent - brought low. Drew Baylor (Orlando Bloom), who works at a Nike-like company in the Pacific Northwest, is responsible for a revolutionary new shoe called the Spasmotica, the recall of which costs Mercury just under a billion dollars in lost revenue."

Anyone going to go see it?

Great name. Reminds me of the comedian (forget who) who was talking about kids with ADD/ADHD. He said that back in his day (which was also back in my day) we didn't have kids with ADD/ADHD - we had spazzes.

(With a preemptive apology to sufferers and families of ADD/ADHD.)
