I read with amusement the CTV news item on Martha Stewart's recent no-show at an event in Nova Scotia. In typical Canadian media form, Martha has now earned the descriptor "disgraced". Haven't heard that since the last story on "disgraced sprinter Ben Johnson". Those Canucks are so easily upset!

Unfortunately, they changed the wording since last night, but here's the Google news cached entry:

Not sure if they went that far to distance themselves. But, while doing a google search on disgraced personalities, I came across "disgraced snowboarder Ross Rebagliati", so maybe there's a deeper Jamaican connection here... 8)

This Martha Stewart visit up here was NATIONAL news for crying out loud. First we had to hear all about how she couldn't cross the border because of her parole but the Canadian government intervened to make it work. Now this.
