Imagine the reaction towards him & MIchelle if THEY had a pregnant teeenage daughter. I agree with Obama's stance that familys are off-limits. But, I'm sure the reaction towards them would have been totally different.

No. He wouldn't have been the nominee. McCain (who is decent when working on his own but is constitutionally incapable of assembling a competent team around him) is the nominee only because good candidates in the GOP knew this wasn't the year to win and didn't run.
