For those few that care, USA U-20 hockey team just beat Sweden 3-1 to win the world championship in Ufa, Russia.

A pat on the back for everybody that knows where Ufa is without peeking .

cue Twilight Zone music. This evening I watched an old episode of History Detectives (great show!), and the focus was on Ufa, which was the German movie studio that did such greats as Metropolis and Blue Angel, but then became a Nazi propaganda arm.

Man, you can say that again! And this time they had all these young stars that would ordinarily be playing for their NHL teams, guys like Nugent-Hopkins. Obviously the top young goalies are not Canadian.
Sometimes it gets to me with all this "Our Game" talk.
