More willful blindness at Penn State?

It looks as if in Happy Valley, if it's not pleasant, they just don't want to know about it. Here's a story about this weekend's Homecoming activities:

http://www.statecollege.com/news/local- ... es-1147952

In the 7th paragrah, there's a reference to "appearances by Penn State alumni who participated in the 2012 Olympic Games, including bronze medalists Natalie Dell (rowing) and Dominique Blake (track and field)."

Well Dominique Blake was a member of the Jamaican Olympic team, and that team did win the 4x400 bronze medal, but Dominique Blake did not participate in the Games nor did she win a medal. It subsequently turned out that she had tested positive at the Jamaican Trials.

I might chalk this one up to willful ignorance.

To be fair, it's probably just plain ignorance. But I thought it was interesting that once again, an inconvenient fact is being ignored in the place that calls itself Happy Valley,

What else is new in that delusional land. I hope Northwestern clobbers them tomorrow.
