Wow, the USA sure blew that one, after being ahead 10-6. Furyk and Mickelson both blowing 1 up with 2 holes to play and lose.

Furyk has always been a favorite of mine, but he choked big time on 3 occasions this year. Duck hook to lose the US Open, butchered last hole to lose another tournament, and now this.

Rest assured that 2 years from now he won't be on the team unless he's an automatic. Ditto for Stricker.

I kept it on all day in the background, waiting for our inevitable victory. The collapse was EPIC . . . Biblical in proportion. I want back any and all time I devoted brain cells toward it!!

I thought it was such a lock I did not watch it..happened to surf that channel just as the guy made the winning put.. left it on long enough to see Tiger miss an 18 inch put that would have halved his match..

Minor correction to the above, lw. Tiger was 1 up coming to 18; missing that putt coupled with his gimme to Molinaro's equally short put gave Molinaro the hole, and caused a halve on the match and the loss of a half point, from 1 for a win to 1/2 for a halve. Meaningless since "tie goes to the incumbent Cup holder." Made the final score 14.5-13.5 rather than 14-14.

Just closed my last day of League play for the year with my best score of the year ( don't ask) climaxed by a 40 foot par putt on 18. Great way to finish the year !

Very good. You should have been on the team rather than Striker or even Mr. UnPutt, Furyk.
