Google Earth Pictures

I Google Earth a lot.. tonight, the little shields are correctly labeled but the picture that comes up when you click it is from somewhere else, thousands of miles away.
I could not discern a pattern, like 180 degrees or ?????
Logged out, rebooted, no help.
Anybody ever experience this?
