Came out of the shower yesterday with 3-4 industrial strength bites on my back that looked like I had been shot by a pellet gun. About the size of nickels. Hope I don't have WNV. It answered the question 'Yes you can be shot through a TShirt. ' Cover up at night.

They've been night spraying here too.

One culprit they're pointing fingers at is the housing market. Not only abandoned properties, but also people who can no longer afford to maintain their pools, so there's a significant reservoir of bad water out there for the little bastards to thrive in.
