There's only one person that can stop Tara from being killed.....Tara...so I think Tara will end up killing Clay.

I've thought for a few weeks that the series is headed towards jax and tara inheriting the roles of Gemma and Clay. Gemma will stick around as matriarch since she's married to Kirk Sutter.

I can't figure out the Otto angle. They spent so much time on it last night that he somehow has to be involved in whatever major story line ongoing happens but I can't figure that out.

The whole Otto thread, as I read it, is that if he takes the deal, the club is finished, so it's a huge problem lurking in the background.... can the boys escape at the last minute once again?!

Of course, bringing him back in also gave us a chance to revisit the porn set, so we got gratuitous (semi)nudity, and, of course, another colorful shooting.

Although I must note that (I've been watching too much CSI!) given where the guys were standing, and with all the shots going through the lid of the trunk, most of the lead ended up in the back seat, not in Georgie Caruso.

Best guess is that Clay was wearing a vest when Opie shot him. But his days seem numbered unless Sutter pulls some Vic Mackey nine lives scenario.

The premise is that Jax has to stay. Can't be Bobby as he appears to have a bit of a problem. Can't be Opie as he's already been declared incapable and he just shot the current leader. Clay...definitely blood spatter....is either deceased or severely incapacitated. So Jax has to take over.

I also think Tara has a copy of the "missing" pages-that show Gemma was part of plot to kill Jax Sr-and will use them to leave Charming. As to Tara's f-up'd assasination was it just me or were those Irish guys?
