Too much to chew on all at once. Is it ok to give just tiny little pieces?! Plus I can't remember all the questions and type answers at the same time ! You should have split it up into 15 different posts.

Well, it's actually possible, but it involves more work than it's worth.

Tex...hate to be a nitpicker, but that's nine. Lemme help you out, bro. I reckon that Blair High School's James McAlister (father of Ravens' CB Chris) still holds the UCLA LJ record at 27'-1/2". Scored 5 TDs in three years with Philly and the P-Men. OK, I had to look THAT part up.

James, I know you're out there...this Pats fan remembers.

My bad!

I didn't actually forget McAlister since he's always the second one I list on that question. He's also my number two ranked UCLA long jumper behind Mike Powell.

Always wondered why he didn't make it bigger in the NFL. Did he have some injury?

Well...I guess I don't remember that well after all. Didn't play in '77, came back with the P-Men in '78. According to the records, didn't get many touches on a team with Sam "Bam" Cunningham and Horace Ivory. Can't speculate on why he didn't make a bigger splash in the NFL.

As a Bruin, though...there was the 27'-1/2" LJ...and check THIS out!

Cool.
