the guy above is the one who is is the best big scoring batsman in history - problem is, he's played for a shit team & carried them solo for over a decade - playing for oz or india ( or windies of the '80's ) he'd probably have those current figures at ~ 15,000 runs, 45 centuries & an average of 70+

I liked cricket, played it from ages 6 till 13, but throwing called and I dropped the sport the moment I threw a discus in my first week of high school. I don't regret the decision the least.
