Buying Chinese

Postby Friar » Thu Dec 15, 2005 8:22 pm

I did it for the first time (that I know of) and it felt lousy. But a progressive scan DVD player for $10 with a rebate was too hard to turn down. I don't know how the longevity is on this cheap electronic gear, but I have a feeling names like Tecsun and Dejen are going to be know over here soon. I just wish we were building some of this crap. The trade deficit is large enough.

Bought crap, felt lousy. Wants to make crap so others can feel lousy, too. Got it.

I suspect you're just not looking closely enough at small everyday things you buy. It's harder to NOT buy Chinese these days.
