Somewhat interesting side note, 2.7 million of tivos 4 million subscribers are with directv. Directv is now building there own dvr's and will end there relationship with tivo after next year. The new directv dvrs do not have 30 second skip. I believe some dvr company got sued over a much more sophisticated method of skipping commercials was included in there dvr.
