First Years of TFN

Of the many large collections I have purchased over the years, the one from the famous writer Maxwell Stiles is easily one of the most interesting. I am finally starting to go through this one carefully. Here is a group of the first TFNs:
1948 - 1-11; 1949 - 1, 3, 4, 5, 8, 10, 11, 12; 1950 - 1-8, 10, 12;
1951 - 1-8, 10, 11

Now these are not in great shape by any means. They all have Maxie's hand written notes on them and are showing much wear. But they are usable and complete, i.e., the pages are all there. The first five issues from 1948 are in typical shape for those. Most are always in bad shape due to the way they were printed and the paper that was used. They are quite rare in decent shape. The whole set is priced accordingly. Write to me for details at The set to be sold as is and complete; I will not break it up.
