Statistics books

Postby pjm » Sun Jun 05, 2005 1:01 pm

Moving around, I need to thin out my bookshelf a bit. Is anyone interested in the following books:

USA T&F Annuals: 1996 and 1997
USATF Media Guide & FAST Annual: 2000 and 2001
ATFS Annual: 1998 and 1999
IAAF Statistical Handbook from Athens '97
IAAF World Athletics Series 1996-1999, Complete Results (book)
TAFWA All-Time World Indoors Lists (1997 and 2004)

I'm likely to recycle them, but figured I'd offer them here first. Cover the postage, and they (or any subset of them) are yours. First come first serve, or something.

IAAF Statistical Handbook from Athens '97

How much are you selling this one for?

clay, methinks they are being given away just for postage, at least that's how I interpreted the description...

Do any of the USATF books contain full results from the US Olympic Trials? In particular, 1988 thru 2000. I'd be interested if they did.

Yes, just postage. I'll bring one by the PO today and find out what the rates are, and post here. I'd rather keep them out of a pulp mill than realize a profit (since I paid for none of them directly); bear in mind that they're "as-is" and though I've removed as many of my sticky-notes as I could find, there may be the odd highlighting or scribbled note.

Clay, you have first call on the Athens book; anyone else, drop me an email (pjm@parkermorse.net).

OT results: Garry's probably got the best route to those. I *suspect* that the '97 and '01 FAST Annuals will have the '96 and '00 Trials, respectively, but I'll check on that when I'm home. (Does USATF not have the full '00 results online? They should, if they don't. But perhaps my sense of what "should" be online is a bit distorted.)

Ballpark postage is about $2 for a single book. Looks like the rate improves for multiples.

You can write to me about the USA Guides and FAST Annuals. I still have some in stock. Not all years are sold out.
