According to the ITAR-TASS press agency, Tatyana Lysenko's A sample tested positive after a test carried out by WADA on 9 May. The B sample results are not available yet.
The substance she allegedly tested positive for is an estrogen inhibitor.

Why would anyone? She:s been consistent and hasn:t caused any alarm bells to ring. This is likely to have been the source of previous discussion Bruce had mentioned asking why something not on WADA list would be considered a positive.

Athletes one step ahead of scientists. Estrogen inhibitors not on WADA's list? How the heck is this possible? So she will not get punished for this or what? Presuming B-test comes out the same that is...

More important than her testing positive...or supposedly so...is the fact that such a result was LEAKED before the B sample results came thru. Its time to start SUING those responsible for leaking such information. Or better yet, just take the leakers out behind the barn and shoot them. I'm only saying that in half-jest...that's how serious I think such leaks are.

And how can she banned for something not on the banned list?
it's a pretty bullshit way to dope:
it comes effectively under s4 of wada doping list with likely some anastrazole derivative
this kinda rubbish probably puts a few cms on your distance ( you are looking for miniscule improvements with "blockers" ), but nowhere near how quicker she ran

you might be surprised! it also could be used with something else and thats what showed up. I'm as disappointed as the next guy but some things are not really surprising anymore.
