Sprinters Drifting Off

Postby Guest » Tue Oct 28, 2003 6:23 am

Well now this makes sense. I always wondered why the sprinters use to drift off to sleep in our team meetings. Now I realize it was because most of them have narcalapsy (sp?). Thus all the positive tests for the stimulants.

Not when a lot of the world's fastest are able to conveniently avoid out of season testing by being unavailable in 'remote' areas of E. Africa. Sure.

Your statement conveniently ignores the fact that a decade ago 5-time World cross champ (and Olympic 5K champ) John Ngugi was banned after the IAAF's Flying Squad showed up unannounced at his door and after a language barrier problem he refused to be tested.
