- The lawyer for World and Olympic 100m champion Justin Gatlin says she does not expect his arbitration hearing on doping charges to be held this year.
The 24-year-old American is facing a ban of up to eight years after testing positive for testosterone in April.
Gatlin and his lawyers are hoping the arbitration panel will either clear him or provide a much shorter suspension.
"I think the time frame for the hearing will be a little longer than you usually see," said Cameron Myler.
"We now have more time to collect evidence to support our defences." (More)
