This Forum Is Now Locked Down Again

Those of you who have been with us since the beginning will remember that when the whole Modafinil/THG/BALCO thing overwhelmed the sport starting late in the summer of '03, the Current Events forum soon contained almost nothing but drug news.

In response, we created the Doping forum. The good news is that that forum is now little used, and what use it does get is mainly directed at things that have little/nothing to do with track.

Ergo, we've locked this section down. We won't remove it, however, because it certainly retains some significant archival value.

Should we--heaven forbid--get into another crisis situation, we'll reopen it. In the meanwhile (aka, hopefully forever), it is once again permissible to address legitimate doping topics on the Current Events forum.

Legitimate, as always, means no rumors, no innuendo. Nothing but the facts m'am. And the scope of what is relevant is 99.99% restricted to track & field. Not other sports.
