Military Police

Happy 89th birthday today (Saturday) to an Olympic champion with two Olympic gold medals won at the same Olympic Games (in Europe).

Our birthday athlete graduated from college the same year "All The King's Men" was released (and later won Best Picture of the Year).

We have celebrated this athlete in the past and as far as I know, this person is still alive today.

Again, don't concern yourself with the hurdles when trying to figure the name of this athlete.

I could give it away if I mentioned University High School, Dean Cromwell, and the Trojans.

Only 23 years old when winning those two Olympic medals, our birthday champion had a famous nickname with the initials "P.M."

Ok, forget the shot put, pole vault, hammer throw, and the triple jump when wondering who this person is.

You know the answer. Go ahead and give it.
