best field in a 100 meters outside of Oly and WC

What is the best 100 meters field of runners for an event outside of Olympics and World Championships?

I expect its either the World Cup events of the 70s and early 80s or at the Goodwill Games.

I suppose that some of the US Olympic Trials might have a claim, particularly for the 400 meters, but I am interested in the 100 meters for now.

Would any of these events be able to claim that all the best 5-8 runners at the time competed (excl. those who were injured)?

I expect that this has been discussed before but my search skills are not good enough. A link to an earlier discussion would be great!

Any thoughts?

Best fields as in those who lined up to compete, or fields that produced the best results (depth/marks-for-place) outside of the major championship events?

By definition, with only 1 entry per nation, it certainly can't be a World Cup.
