reaction times pre 2000

I'm looking for reaction times for the sprint events from Olympics and WCs before 2000. I have the 1996 Olympics and most of the finals of the others, but can't find anything on the web for any of the early rounds of the other events. I think measurements of reaction times go back at least to 1984 Olympics and maybe before that, but where are they held?
