Some Say The Best

Postby DoubleRBar » Sun Dec 09, 2012 8:56 am

Some people say this Olympic gold medalist may be the best athlete to have competed in our sport.

This person shares the same initials as does an Australian hurdler who won Olympic gold 44 years ago this year.

Our birthday athlete was born 79 years ago today.

A Cuban javelin thrower who won Olympic gold 32 years ago this year also shares the same initials as our birthday person.

Because of cancer, our birthday athlete died at the age of 78.

An American jumper who won Olympic gold 20 years ago this year also shares the same initials as our birthday athlete.

Only 18 years old when taking the Olympic silver medal, our birthday athlete was 22 years old when winning the Olympic gold medal.

The hurdles are involved with this Olympic champion.

Name this birthday gold medalist.
