What a beautiful....but sad story!
I was one of the lucky ones...I saw her compete at her best!
I attended the US Championships in San Jose in 1984.
Can't remember her exact times, but I remember she ran both the 800 and 1500.

She accomplished more in her short 38 year life than many people do in twice the time!!
Was so saddened to hear she had died!!
She had so much more to give!

One thing I did NOT know was about her brother!!
Sounds like he was on the edge of being TOO involved in her life!!
