track types for US Nationals?

Just wondering when the tracks for US Nationals became synthetic? I think the 1963 Nationals were on a rubber track, but were they synthetic from then on or did they go back to cinders/dirt/grass for a while after that?

1967 - Bakersfield - Cinders/Brick
1968 - San Diego - cinders (different stadium than in '65)
1969 - Miami - synthetic
1970 - Bakersfield - Cinders/Brick
1971 - Eugene - synthetic
1972 Seattle - synthetic

To make a minor correction which no one probably cares about is that the Rutgers track in 1964 was cinder/brick. It was a new track that had been just completed before the nationals. The NJ high school state meet, usually held at Rutgers, was run at Highland Park H.S. I know this because a couple of weeks later (maybe it was even days) an AAU meet was held on the new facility. They told us that it was crushed bricks, imported from England. I finished a very distant 3rd in the 440, maybe it was 400 meters. I just recall how firm it was. I remember the contrast of the new red track with the top of the chute still composed of black cinders. I guess they figured that they would never use the chute again. But for some dumb reason they decided to use the poorly groomed chute in the 1969 state meet so that they could run the 440 around only one turn. I remember that well because the school that I was coaching at had a very good sprinter. After winning the 100 yd dash, he stepped in a hole at the start of the 220 (actually his better event) and ripped a hamstring, which plagued him throughout college.
