Very good, mikli. It is Bud Houser who was born today 111 years ago. Of course, if you know the shot put and/or the discus, you know Bud Houser who won the discus in 1924 and again in 1928 (both times beating throwers from Finland). If it wasn't for Vilho Niittymaa, the U.S. would have gone 1-2-3 in the 1924 Paris Olympic Games.

Houser also won the shot put in Paris.
