RIP Mike Korth

If you have been anywhere around the University of Texas athletic program over the past 25 years, you might have met Mike. One of the kindest and most sincere men I ever had the pleasure of meeting. A behind the scenes guy who made everything run right.

We will miss you, Mike.

I knew Mike for the entire time he worked for the UT Athletic Dept.. he was the guy who made the Texas Relays run..johnny on the spot with equipment and venue needs.. always cheerful and helpful.. great guy... sad day when he had to step back..they now have a four man crew to replace Mike..
Several years ago, when the Relays were still held in Memorial Stadium, Mike loaned me a wrench to turn on/off the water supply to the jump pits..I just kept on keeping it for next year...it is still in my track bag.. I think I will just keep it..
Just realized I never knew Mike's last name..but knew instantly who the lead was about..
