Here are some good pics. NCAA champ Vol cross country team returns to Knoxville with Doug Brown, I believe wearing his Munich opening ceremonies suit and hat, welcoming a teammate off the private plane. For some reason, I think it is John Angel, who did not score in the meet. Strange to see two celebrants on top of the plane! On the page before, notice the packed stands at Tom Black Track. Must have been the days.
