We have located the great photo of Brumel kicking the B-ball rim. Now, I seem to recall once seeing a photo of Franklin Jacobs about nose high at the rim of a 10 foot hoop. Was it in T&FN or SI or where? Anyone else remember that photo or know where it can be found?
And do you think Jacobs had the highest vertical leap of all time? Joe Faust recently posted a question on his website, asking if it were possible that any high jumper was ever in the air for more than one second. I'd bet Jacobs came closest, given his overhead differential. Whattya think?
