Wayne, I'll give it a try.I'd say Sanya Richards because she was strong at all 3 sprints. She was in the top 3 of all 3 her senior year. For the men i'd say Kelly Willie because of the same reason as above.

I'd agree. All 4 years of her high school career she was top 15 in the 100 & 200 and in her 1st year of the 400 she was top 3 I believe. Not to mention that as a senior she broke the indoor 200 and 400 and outdoor 400 and was ranked #1 in the 100 and 400. She was a pretty decent long and high jumper too.

Wayne, I would have said Justin Gatlin, but he really didn't get noticed as much till he went to Tennessee. I guess that says alot about the coaching at UT. Justin was good at the 100, 200, 110H, AND HE COULD RUN A SMOKING 4X400 LEG, but like I said this was as a freshman at UT. What about Dwight Thomas?

Dwight was incredible. He ran 10.3 and 20.5 easing up at the finish and I though that was incredible. Only problem were his grades.

Trackster for now. I've been thinking about playing football but every game I see one of my track team mates getting hurt I don't want risk injury.

Right now because I ran from Last September up until this August the coach and my day want me to take a break from track. Its hard because I lift weights everyday and I watch them practice sometimes but I think I should take a break to because right now I dont have anything left.

If you include performances against their peers on the world stage that rules out Sanya as she failed miserably before her former "homemates" at the last World Juniors in Jamaica being comprehensively beaten in both the 200 and 400 metres. Dwight Thomas while he took the double at Pan Am juniors was easily handled by Christian Malcolm at the World Juniors.

The most impressive prep sprinters from any country during the last five years have been Male: Mr. Bolt and female: Veronica Campbell (injured this year)

Well I meant alon the lines of prep careers not just 1 singl performance. Considering that Sanya's season started in January and ended in August she did pretty good. She still was able to break the 2 indoor records the 400 outdoor record and be ranked #1 in the indoor 200,400 outdoor 100,400 and #2 in outdoor 200.

Besides me(with a smile) We have Josh Comb and Jordan Davis from Southern Lab. On the girls side watch out for my sister Megan Ruffin who ran 11.77(3rd) 24.48(2nd)at state and 56.xx something this summer.

Although running mainly 100m, Darrell Brown has been running some very fast 100m times over the past 5 years, culminating in his 10.01 WJR at the WC this year
