Olympic 1500s

Postby Guest » Tue Jul 29, 2003 3:11 pm

I've been doing a bit of research and was if anyone could help me find either analysis, splits, commentary, footage (video), or photographs of all the 1500's contested in Olympic finals history?

Or, for that matter, any information on the early 1500 greats, (like, 1900-1960 or so)...

ANY help would be greatly appreaciated.

Spend some time tooling around www.runningmovies.com and you will find a lot of stuff. Bud Greenspan's Olympic films would help you out, especially the one on the 1500 meters ( http://www.runningmovies.com/o.htm#Olym ... 0%20Meters ), which is now available only as part of the 8-video set "The Olympiad's Greatest Moments" ( http://www.runningmovies.com/o.htm#The% ... %20Moments ). I have it, and it's awesome. "The Supermilers" would also help you out.

The best book for your project is "The Milers", by Cordner Nelson and Reberto Quercetani ( http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/de ... ce&s=books ). Try also "The Golden Milers" ( http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/de ... ce&s=books ).
