Is NBC's stream working for anybody this morning? I saw the women's marathon earlier, but now, nothing from the main stadium, just a black screen.

I see the results of the first qualifying heat popping up on the London website.
But no live video of the W400H or the high jump qualifying.

Bummer. Is it just MY connection? Streaming from other London Olympic venues seems to be working.

The first four qualify automatically out of each heat. Fourth place in the first heat was 56.47, in the second heat it was 55.44.
So I'm not sure why people are intent on clocking 53.90-somethings. Wouldn't it be smarter to conserve energy by cruising in at around 55.00 ?

Why do they put hurdles in lane 1 if it's not in use :?

On the final straightaway it prevents trail leg hooking by the athlete in lane 2.

Moline runs a PB of 54.31!

She was pushing decently hard, but was way obviously more comfortable the her previous all out run at trials.

Missed the first heat, what happened with Stambolova? (Did she stumble over  )

Re McIntosh, I've also been surprised at Americans switching to Liberia, I guess they don't actually have to live there to get citizenship (as Aldama didn't have to with Sudan)? Who with an ounce of sense would actually choose to move to Liberia from the USA?!

Watching it on TV on Europe, they skipped the first heat, so maybe that was the worldwide feed. Also, legal live stream over here that included t&f last few days, does not include it today.

Yes, went out fast, then slowed down running the turn, did not look in control of the race.

I think Melanie's going to repeat.... :)

Notice.... She shot out and was in control for the first 200 or so but then started to jog which is why she started stuttering all over the place. She seemed comfortable with taking 2nd. I'm content.

That's putting it mildly... she ended up crashing headfirst into the next hurdle, and it wasn't even in her own lane!

AS long as PSD doesnt decide to stop running if she's in fourth and thus miss the final like in Daegu - Dai Greene made it to the final as the fastest loser and I think goes evens in the final

The BBC commentators said she took a really bad fall in training and sprained her ankle which is why she wasn't great in the heats.
