Ok, someone had to be the 1st to post here, might as well be me.

Looking for top 25 finishes by Rachel Seaman and Maria Michta, both achieving A standards.

After 2K, Kaniskina, the leader, is walking at a pace of 1:25:30, an OR if kept up.
Maria Michta, the American, passed 2K at 9:17, a PR pace of 1:32:50!!


At 4K, Kaniskina and Liu Hong lead at 17:03, still an OR pace.
Michta slightly slower.....her 4K at 18:35...but still on PR pace!!

At 6K, Kaniskina and Liu still leading...time of 25:32.....a pace that leads to an OR of 1:25:09.
Michta picked it up the last 2K....walking 9:04 for that segment....her time predictive of a PR of 1:32.10.

At 8K, Kaniskina has a big lead over Liu.....doing her last 2K in 8:30....total time of 34:02.
Predicted finish: OR of 1:25:07!!

Michta still on good PR pace...her last 2K in 9:11....predicted finish of 1:32:15!!

At the halfway point....10K.....Kaniskina has 17 sec lead over Liu....time of 42:33.
She'll SHATTER her own OR of 1:26:31....with a 1:25:06 at this pace!!!!

Michta also on HUGE PR pace of 1:32:04....passing halfway in 46:02.
She's in 40th place...picking up 3 spots.
There are now 58 walkers left!!

Kaniskina at 1:08:11....a 1:25:21 pace.....new OR!!!
Michta still moving up in place....now 29th at 16K....time of 1:14:00...about 1:32:52 pace....still a SUPER PR!!!

When she got carded for lifting with about 1K to go I thought for sure she'd wind up getting tossed before it was said and done. Credit to her for fighting what had to be an almost irresistible urge when closing those last several seconds of gap

Why is it still pending 11 years later??

The WR listed with it is 1:25:08 by Vera Sokolova from 2011.
So if THAT is the WR, then Lashmanova did indeed get it!!!

So, do you know why the 1:24:50 is still pending??
