so should the usatf consider the ncaa's schedule? or should the ncaa schedule to fit the agenda of top athletes. torres made his priorities and did what he needed to do to reach a goal of his. if some of those other top athletes made it their priority to go to the worlds they would have made similar choices. i cant say im happy about lincoln making the team in the steeple since i think holding hands across the finish line is probably the most anti-competitive and wimpy thing ever to do. the only thing that makes it close to ok is the fact that it wasnt his main event, but still it was a very weak thing to do. personally i think the ncaa should have given two 2nd place trophies in that race. oh well, sorry about the rant. athletes should get their priorities straight. jeremy scott went to the worlds in england rather than compete in d3 nationals indoors. what is more important? i guess it depends upon the individual concerned.
