Women's race tightens up

Stephanie Durst of LSU failed to make the finals in the 200. By my count (using the Trackwire formcharts, which are only slightly different than T&FN's), LSU now projects to 63 points, Texas to 59. That 4x4 on Saturday could be mighty fun.

What about the men's race? How do you see that shaping up?

After the 10,000 last night, I'd say it's over (assuming Arkansas does what they're supposed to for the next two days). Daniel Lincoln was only supposed to score in the 10K, not win! That gives them about 5-10 more points than they expected; combined with Auburn's screw-ups (Gabor Mate failed to qualify in the disc), Arkansas will get out of reach pretty quickly.
