Koji Murofushi at the Pre

Koji Murofushi's performance at yesterday's Pre Classic was truly amazing, three throws between 269 & 270, with the winning throw 271-2. Watching Stewart Togher, at ring side, was a study in adrenline primed anticipation. He knew that the next throw could soar past the 280 foot mark. Koji's speed and technique is beauty in motion.
I hope Tom Jordan can find the resources to bring Koji back to the Classic in future years.

The Japan Times reports that Koji's sister Yuka, set a Japan national women's hammer record yesterday.

Seems to be the family business. Koji's father held the national record prior to Koji.
