Jordan McNamara wins the 1500m in 3.35 and bits; will Leer 14th in 3.41 and bits

perhaps the goodly number of sub 3.37 athletes in the States could come and talk to our no hopers in the 1500m in the UK.

That was disappointing. The meet site actually had a live stream with quality video then it abruptly stopped and I could not get it to work after that point. The others sites actually just had soccer games instead of the meet.

Then Carter's 9.91 was announced as 9.87 over the loudspeaker. Those are both significant drops from the original times. Wind readings?

Thanks.

I've looked online at their results but they have not yet posted the women's results with wind, any idea what the wind was for that race?

Edit: I just saw a 1.5.

Click on the red icon on the right, then on "resultados" that will open the complete results including wind info. Wind for the w100 was +1.5 .

I did earlier and even with some events when they went to "official" status they did not always include the actual results.

With Yohan Blake questionable is there a chance Carter will get a spot in Moscow? The time is his fastest since 2010.

Disappointing that the livestream links for FirstRowSports switched over to football games. I did manage to watch Madrid on a StopStream link, and picked up a Heusden link from a LetsRun poster on JustinTV. Some very interesting results! Does anybody know what happened to Alysia Montano? She pulled out a bit after 300 m. of the 800 in Madrid. Injury? I hope not. Brandon Johnson looks like the real deal in the men's 800!

Wind and altitude may have been helpful but Carter had a very poor reaction time of 0.234s.

Shalonda Solomon, 11.04 with an RT of .46?
Mandy White 11.28 with an RT of .52?

Maybe reaction times reported in that website are not too reliable, otherwise Shalonda Solomon had had a MONSTRUOUS 100 m

The top collegians that they would not let run the 5000 at USATF finished in the top couple - Darling (WI) 13:27, 3rd in an almost photo finish, and Andy Bayer, 7:47 (in Spain) in a tight finish (Kenyans, I think, won both races narrowly).
