Sorry if this was posted elsewhere. Any (injury) updates on him?

Probably just out for the year. When he was injured at trials in 09 and 12, he just sat the rest of the year out...

I hope this guy doesn't sit out the rest of the year. He needs to get it together. If he can get healthy he can still run on the relay right? Did he make the finals of the 100 or was it the semi?

He wont be healthy in time. Atleast not healthy enough to be faster than 4 other people.
And he only made the semi at USA's

Also note that Dix has never run a Relay at a major championship...2008 the baton got dropped in the semis, and 2011, the USA went down before Dix got the baton...

Given what Dix did at the Nationals, I can't imagine that USATF would put him in the relay pool for Moscow.

Small news, perhaps, but some good news nevertheless, as Dix returned to 100m competition (ran a 200m in July) for the first time since USATF:

Copenhagen Athletic Games 1 August
+0.9
1 Jacques HARVEY 10.12
2 Walter DIX 10.14

(10.19 in his Heat, also +0.9)

Where did he run a 200 in July and what was the result?
